Catarina Emerson, 19, forensic anthropology major, this is her first year at Pierce. She has two tattoos, one on back of her neck and one on her wrist. Her neck tattoo is a chinese symbol for strength, she says she got it because, " I was going through alot," and, " I didn't want the word, I wanted a symbol so I looked things up". The wrist tattoo is her mom's handwritting which says I love you, she got it because, " my mom is my bestfriend and I wanted something personal." Her mother has the same wrist tattoo which also says I love you but in Catarina's handwriting.
